Syndicated loan to GmC Group amounting to 10,300,000 euro - Borrowers GMC S.A. 7,300,000 euro
B.M.T.E. S.A. 3,000,000 euro

Emporiki Bank (Commercial Bank of Greece) has completed through its Customer Division (Corporate Banking) the organization of a Syndicated Loan for ?GmC Group? amounting to euro 10,300,000. Borrowers are the companies of the Group: GmC S.A. and B.M.T.E S.A.
The contract was signed on 18/3/2003, in Athens, at the TITANIA HOTEL. Emporiki Bank undertook both the organization and the administration of the loan. The following Banks, apart from the Commercial Bank of Greece S.A., participate in the Syndicated Loan: Commercial Bank of Greece (Germany) GmbH., National Bank of Greece S.A., Bank EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A., Bank of Piraeus S.A., Bank of Attica S.A., ETBA Bank S.A. and General Bank of Greece S.A.
It is a five-year term loan aiming at the refinancing of the existing banking obligations of these two companies of the Group.
The industrial companies of Metallurgy and Technical Works GmC S.A. and B.M.T.E. S.A. are active in the production of Cast products of special alloys of steel, aluminium and copper, in metal constructions, machinist and special processes as well as in the assembly of integrated systems.
At Group level the turnover during financial year 2002 amounted to euro 13.2 million as against euro 14.8 million during financial year 2001, marking a reduction by 10.84 %. This reduction of turnover during the previous financial year is attributed mainly to the fact that orders of the previous year were finally priced during the running financial year. The expected pre-tax profit will range around last year's levels, exceeding the amount of euro 800 thousand.
