The President of the ATHEX Board of Directors, Mr. Spyros J. Capralos, taking into consideration a relevant request of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, decided the temporary suspension of trading of the shares of the company EMPORIKOS DESMOS S.A., as of April 1rst, 2010 for a time interval up to ten (10) days, according to article 23 of L. 3556/2007, deviates, due to the fact that the company΄s released Financial Statements for the 1st Quarter of 2010 from the IAS/IFRS standards.

The aforementioned suspension is deemed necessary for the protection of investors, based on the fact that the smooth operation of the market is temporarily not ensured.
