The Special Applications Department of ALTEC/ Software Business Unit undertook the Information Technology Management System of the Interamerican Health Insurance & Assistance Company, establishing further its leading presence in the Solutions market for insurance and brokerage firms.

Following the analysis of the company's operational demands, Unisoft Insurance Software (UNIS) has been chosen as the most appropriate insurance management information system, in the framework of upgrading the existing customer-focused system of the company. The access of information of UNIS system, through the Internet, by the branches of Interamerican, will be given through a special interface created by ALTEC.

The project includes the granting of the license to use UNIS software and the provision of support services, including the software's installation and customization, and employee training for the software's use. It is estimated that the installation and operation of the new IT system, will contribute substantially to the implementation of the company's goals and will play a significant role to the provision of high quality services to its customers.
