The Athens Exchange Group hosted the first-ever ATHEX Sustainability Summit 2025 on October 9, 2025, at the Divani Caravel Hotel. The summit aimed to provide both listed and non-listed companies with the latest insights on sustainability and guidance for navigating an ever-evolving business environment.

The event brought together leading market representatives and senior executives from Greek and international companies. Participants included Sean Kidney, CEO of Climate Bonds Initiative; Elisabeth Vishnevskaja, Head of Fixed Income at PRI; Dr. Petros Varelidis, Secretary General for Natural Environment and Waters of the Ministry of Environment & Energy; Ms. Rania Aikaterinari, President of the Executive Committee and Vice President of the Board of SEV; and Mr. Nikolaos Papadimos, Deputy Chairman of HAASOB & Chairman of the Quality Control Board (QCB).

The summit’s agenda featured keynote speeches and panel discussions on challenges posed by the European regulatory framework, compliance with Law 5164/2024, the significance of ESG ratings for sustainable investments, and the role of digital tools in ESG data management. The conference concluded with the CEO’s Panel featuring Haris Sachinis (EYDAP), Menelaos Tasopoulos (Papoutsanis), and Nikolaos-Ioannis Dimtsas (Dimand).
