On 6 March, we rang the Closing Bell at the Athens Stock Exchange, as part of Euronext, to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 and highlight this year’s message, “Balance the Scales.”

This occasion highlights the crucial role diversity plays in healthy, resilient markets. Encouraging women to take on leadership positions and thrive in business and finance is not just about fairness — it strengthens organisations, enhances decision-making, and supports long-term growth.

The theme, “Balance the Scales,” calls for meaningful, lasting change, ensuring that women have equal access to opportunities, leadership, and influence at every level.
