A concession Contract was signed for the Project STUDY - CONSTRUCTION - FINANCING -OPERATION - MAINTENANCE AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT SECTION OF ELEFSINA - CORINTH - PATRAS - PYRGOS - TSAKONA, between the Greek State, the Societe Anonyme named Apion Kleos Freeway Concession Societe Anonyme for the Freeway Section Elefsina - Corinth - Patras - Pyrgos - Tsakona, which is the Final Contractor of the following project, as well as its shareholders i.e. 'VINCI S.A' (36%), 'HOCΗTIEF PPP SOLUTIONS GmbΗ' (25%), 'ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB S.A.' (18%), 'J&P-AVAX S.A.' (18%), and 'ATHENA S.A.' (3%). This contract is expected to be validated within 4 months from the Hellenic Parliament and the works will commence immediately after. The construction period is anticipated to last for 70 months, the duration of the concession 30 years and the total cost of the Project is estimated at 2.8 bil. Euro. The length of the Freeway is approximately 365 kilometers. In the 'Manufacturer Joint Venture of APION KLEOS' the following companies participate: 'AKTOR S.A.', 'J&P-AVAX S.A.', 'HOCΗTIEF CONSTRUCTION AG', 'VINCI CONSTRUCTION GRANDS PROJECS SA' and 'ATHENA S.A.'.
