Increased Sales and EBITDA for Company and Group
Altec's financial figures for the first quarter of 2007 follow an upward trend in relation to the same period of 2006. Sales and operational profits (EBITDA) improved on both Company and Group basis.
Company
Particularly, Altec's sales during Q1 of 2007 amounted to euro 36.45m in contrast to euro 26.50m for the same period of 2006, presenting a growth of 37.56%.
Gross profit increased by 25.33% amounting to euro 8.26m from euro 6.59m.
Operating profit (EBITDA) improved by 38.64% and amounted to euro 4.05m from euro 2.92m.
Profit before tax amounted to euro 1.34m in contrast to euro 1.31m, an increase of 2.17%.
Profit after tax amounted to euro 872 thousands from euro 1.05m, a decrease of 17.20%
Group On a Group level, during Q1 of 2007, sales increased by 8.23% and amounted to euro 50.57m in contrast to euro 46.72m.
Gross profit amounted to euro 15.06m from euro 10.97m, presenting an increase of 37.25%.
Operating profit (EBITDA) improved by 15.08% and amounted to euro 5.30m from euro 4.60m.
Profit before tax amounted to 949 thousands from euro 1.31m presenting a decrease of 27.53% and profits after tax amounted to 319 thousands from euro 1.06m, a decrease of 69.83%.
Gross profit improved from 23.49% in Q1 2006, to 29.79%, an improvement of 26.81%.
