Substantial changes to the leadership structure of Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd were decided by the Group's Board of Directors during its Meeting today.
More particularly, the Board of Directors shall be enhanced by Panayiotis Kounnis and Efthymios Bouloutas, whereas Kyriakos Magiras resigned, undertaking the duties of the Executive Vice President of the INVESTMENT BANK OF GREECE, a subsidiary of the Group.
Three Deputy Chief Executive Officers are appointed: Christos Stylianides, as Deputy Chief Executive Subsidiaries Other Countries and the Group's International Affairs, Efthymios Bouloutas, as Deputy Chief Executive Greece and Panayiotis Kounnis, as Deputy Chief Executive Cyprus.
Moreover, a new Executive Committee was elected, the Chairman of which shall be Eleftherios Hiliadakis and the members of which shall be Andreas Vgenopoulos, Christos Stylianides, Efthymios Bouloutas and Panayiotis Kounnis.
For the strategic issues of the Group, the Group's Executive Committee shall be supported by Matteo Stefanel and Demetris Spanodemos.
Moreover, the Board of Directors proceeded to the overview of the latest developments of the Bank, confirming the exceptional performance of the Group.
Finally, the Board of Directors thanked Mr. Eleftherios Hiliadakis for his services as Deputy Chief Executive Greece and congratulated him for the successful and timely completion of the triple merging in Greece.
