J&P-AVAX signed on 19.07.2007 a contract with Notos Com Holdings SA for a project worth Euro 6.85 million involving a major renovation into a shopping centre of a building in the commercial centre of Thessaloniki. The project pertains to Phase I of the construction of the Notos Galleries store located at the intersection of Tsimiski and Mitropoleos Streets in Thessaloniki. The store will have a 2,500 m2 basement, a 2,500 m2 ground floor with access from both facing streets, a mezzanine floor and five storeys of an average surface of 2,000 m2 each. Works involve renovation of the existing basement and ground floor, preservation of the architectural design of the Tsimiski Street face, structural reinforcements, new concrete and metal compound foundations, as well as the construction of additional storeys. The project carries an 8-month deadline.
