The HELLENIC REPUBLIC, with its letter, protocol number Oik. 2/44337/0025 / 12.7.2007, to the Capital Markets Commission, announced that on July 11th, 2007 it proceeded with the offering of common nominal shares, with voting rights of the GREEK POSTAL SAVINGS BANK S.A., of its ownership. Following the afore-mentioned placement the HELLENIC REPUBLIC holds a direct 34.43% (from 54.43%) percentage stake and indirectly, via the company "Hellenic Post S.A.", 10% of the Bank`s share capital.
