Following an international tender and a competitive process, INTRALOT Australia Pty Ltd., 100% owned by INTRALOT S.A., has signed a contract for the provision of the new on-line gaming operating system together with necessary support services for the Lotteries Commission of Western Australia (Lotterywest).
The contract is for 5 years with options to extend for up to another 5 years. Total revenue from the contract, including extensions and options, will be approximately AUD18 million dollars. Implementation of the new system will start almost immediately and the conversion to the new system will commence by March, 2008.
The project entails the supply and implementation as well as the support of the integrated lottery system, based on INTRALOT''s open architecture solution LOTOS O/S and CORONIS family of terminals (including Ticket checkers and Portable Terminals). Furthermore INTRALOT will be providing the hardware equipment that will host the LOTOS O/S and its applications. The new system will provide Lotterywest with all the necessary functionality to provide the community of Western Australia with a reliable and modern lottery system.
