In compliance to the No. 2273/2003 Regulation of the E.C. Committee dated December 22nd, 2003 Proton announces purchases of own shares as listed below, which were accomplished in accordance to article 16 par. 5 of L.2170/1920, in implementation of Annual Shareholders' Meeting decision of November 24th, 2006 and the Board of Directors' decision of May 8th, 2007.
(1) On August 1st, 2007 a total of 14,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.003 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 140,043.98.
(2) On August 6th, 2007 a total of 3,878 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 9.946 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 38,570.45.
The abovementioned 17,878 own shares, of total value Euro 178,614.43 were purchased through Proton Bank S.A. at an average purchase price of Euro 9.991 per share.
