EUROMEDICA S.A., within the framework of its plans regarding the further development of its primary care network, would like to hereby inform investors and its shareholders that, on 26 July 2007, it proceeded in the purchase of 41% of the share capital of the diagnostic centre Axoniki and Diagnostic Corinth S.A. at a consideration of 72,8 thousand Euros (Euro 72,816.00). The diagnostic centre, which began operating in 1991, possesses an axial scanner, a triplex ultra sound/ultrasound device, a bone mass measurement device, a digital x-ray and microbiological device. Among the company's immediate plans are included the centre?s complete renovation and the addition of a magnetic tomography department.
It should be noted that, following the aforementioned buy-out, the company's network of diagnostic centres on a pan-Hellenic level amounts to 28, 13 of which are located within the Prefecture of Attiki (one of which will begin operating shortly), 5 of which, including the EUROGENETIKI laboratory, are located in Thessalonica/Salonica/Thessaloniki, 2 of which are located in Crete, 3 of which are located in Volos and 3 of which, one in each city, are located in Larisa, Ptolemaida and Serres.
