Purchase of own shares
Alpha Bank refers to a resolution of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated 3.4.2007 to repurchase own shares, in accordance with article 16 (5) of codified law 2190/1920. According to the aforementioned resolution, Alpha Bank may repurchase, until 15.4.2008, up to 3% of its outstanding, at any given time, paid-in share capital, which currently corresponds to 12,240,660 shares, at a purchase price per share no less than Euro 3.90 and no more than Euro 32.00.
The Board of Directors of Alpha Bank, at its meeting on 26.4.2007, decided, pursuant to the above, that the Bank repurchase, throughout the period from 2.5.2007 to 30.11.2007, up to 6,000,000 treasury shares at a purchase price per share no less than Euro 3.90 and no more than Euro 32.00.
