Following a question from the Capital Market Commission, with regards to publications of the press regarding eventual business contacts of our Company with private equity funds for their common participation in tenders in the U.S and in accordance with the art.2 of the d.5/204/2000 of the Capital Market Commission, the Company answers the following:
INTRALOT has expressed its interest in participating in the Lottery Privatization Tenders in the U.S and is examining this option. Since these tenders require from the participants significant amounts of upfront fees, our Company in the context of the relative tenders is examining its cooperation, among others, with private equity funds. The relative business agreements and contacts are subject to confidentiality agreements. Should there be any developments regarding the abovementioned issue, our company will proceed with appropriate announcements to the regulating authorities and the investors, as required by legislation.
