Briefing of analysts by the company
The administration referred to the companys projects and financial data.
Within the framework of the obligations arising from Article 292 of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulation, the company Pantechniki SA informs the investors that on Monday 21 May 2007 the annual briefing of analysts with regard to the financial results of 2006 took place.The briefing was carried out by Mr. Eleftherios Giokaris, Financial Director and Ms. Anna Maria Giokari, Investor Relations & Communications Director of Pantechniki SA.
During the presentation, the administration of Pantechniki SA referred to the public and private projects undertaken and carried out by the company, as well as to its participation in concession projects. As to the latter, the company participates by 13.3% to the company Moreas SA, which has undertaken the construction and 30-year exploitation of the highway project Corinth Tripoli Kalamata & Section Lefktro Sparta. It should be noted that the approved contractual object of the project in question for which Pantechniki SA is responsible amounts to 112.2 million euros. Furthermore, the company participates in a joint venture scheme that has been shortlisted for participation in the tender concerning the concession project Urban Road Works of Attica. With regard to the projects for the public sector, Pantechniki SA takes part in contract works concerning Egnatia Odos, the national highway PATHE as well as the infrastructure of OSE (Greek Railway Organisation). Moreover, it participates in the construction of the extension project of subway line 3 of Attiko Metro from Egaleo to Haidari. Abroad, the company carries out road construction projects in Cameroon and Romania, while in the private projects sector it is in the process of constructing the building Theatron for the Foundation of the Hellenic World and participates in the 2nd development phase of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. It is pointed out that the outstanding balance of Pantechniki SAs order book signed contracts amounts at the moment to 500 million euros.
Furthermore, an extensive reference was made to the financial figures of Pantechniki SA regarding the financial year of 2006. The turnover at company level amounted to 146.96 million euros (103.2 million euros in 2005) and the Earnings Before Taxes, Interest, Depreciations and Amortisations (EBITDA) amounted to 4.83 million euros (8.73 million euros in 2005). On a consolidated basis, last years turnover amounted to 180.2 million euros (134.2 million euros) and the Earnings Before Taxes, Interest, Depreciations and Amortisations (EBITDA) amounted to 7.72 million euros (12.09 million euros in 2005). After taxes, Pantechniki SA recorded losses amounting to 5.03 million euros at company level (profits of 4.25 million euros in 2005) and profits amounting to 8.21 million euros at Group level (profits of 7.51 million euros in 2005). Regarding the merger with Elliniki Technodomiki SA, the administration of Pantechniki SA mentioned that the company will be divided into two parts. The first part, which will represent the 87.5% of the companys total value, will be absorbed by Elliniki Technodomiki. The second part will represent the remaining 12.5% of the company and will be absorbed by an S.A. not listed at the Athens Stock Exchange.
