EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. ("the Bank") announces, in accordance with Regulation of the Commission of the European Community no 2273/2003, article 4, par.4, that following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank dated April 3, 2007, and the resolution of its Board of Directors of that date, it purchased, οn 26 October 2007, 39,000 own shares through the Athens Exchange Member EFG Eurobank Securities with average cost price euro 26.25 per share and total purchase price euro 1,023,861.57.
