The management of the Erricos Dynan Hospital assumed by Athens Medical Center SA together with Euromedica SA
Athens Medical Center SA informs its investors and the investor community that in cooperation with Euromedica SA agreed with Erricos Dynan Non Profit Organisation for the management of its hospital Erricos Dynan
The management of Erricos Dynan Hospital will be assumed by Eurohospital, a legal entity in which both parties, Athens Medical Center SA and Euromedica SA will participate with 50% stake each.
The agreement will be effective from January 1st 2008, with initial duration of one year and the option of a three year further extension from January 2009 onwards.
The aim of the management contract assumed by Eurohospital and agreed with the Greek Red Cross and Erricos Dynan Non Profit Organisation, is the offering of high quality medical services, to serve its scope of activity and the cost control in order to guarantee the further growth of the hospital.
The agreement, among other things, provides for the offering of free medical services to poor people and people in need, as per instructions of the Greek Red Cross as well as serving the needs of the Greek state, the Greek NHS and the academic community as described in existing contracts currently in effect.
