73.36% Net Profit Increase in Q3 2007
Microland financial results present an important increase in Q3 2007 in relation to the same period for 2006.
The improvement in financial results, as depicted from the published financial statements, indicates the upward course the company has entered. Profits after tax increased by 73.36% during the period January - September 2007 and amount to euro 1.326 mln from euro 0.765 mln for the same period in 2006.
Microland's turnover for the period amounts to euro 60.467 mln in relation to euro 46.808 mln for the same 2006 period, presenting an increase of 29.18%. Earnings before interest, depreciation and taxes (EBITDA) increased by 29.42% and amount to euro 3.243 mln from euro 2.506 mln.Gross profit margin for the 9 month period of 2007 increased to 13.39% from 10.34% and net profit margin increased from 1.63% to 2.19%.
It is worth noticing that Microland bears no bank loans.
The continuous positive course of Microland is based on the appropriate business strategy of the "clever shop" model that is already acceptable by the consumers and the quick expansion of shops network.According to Microland management, shop network expansion will continue with a high pace during the course of the next two years.
