Further to the announcement of 19 November 2007 regarding payment of interest on Debentures 2003/2007 (LGDD) and following guidelines from the Cyprus Stock Exchange in view of the suspension of trading of all Corporate Debentures from 10 to 31 December 2007 due to their conversion into Euro, Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that the date that beneficiaries will be determined with regard to the interest to be paid on 31 December will be 7 December 2007 rather than 19 December 2007 as was originally announced.
It is recalled that, in accordance with their Terms of Issue, the Debentures 2003/2007 will be repaid in full with the accrued interest on 31 December 2007. As a result, in accordance with the above guidelines from the Cyprus Stock Exchange, their last day of trading will be 7 December 2007 rather than 19 December 2007 as was originally announced.
