The Company, in pursuance of Article 2 of Decision No 5/204/2000 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and article 6(1d) of Law 3340/2005, wishing to comment on recent publications in the electronic press, discloses the following:
As cited in its announcement dated 4 October 2007, during this phase the Company considers the possibilities of its development in the real estate sector where the Group has considerable experience. In this context, the company has held discussions with foreign investors about the creation of an investment fund equal to EUR 100 million invested in real estate properties. However, given that no agreement has been concluded yet, the Company reserves the right to duly inform the Authorities and investors once the negotiations are finished.
As regards the alleged share capital increase of AXON Holdings that is mentioned in the above publications through the participation of international funds by EUR 100 or 150 million, the Company informs the investors that the Company has never made any similar announcement nor any relevant decision has been made by the competent corporate bodies.
