PRE - AGREEMENT FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMPANY "ELGEKA FERFELIS ROMANIA SRL" AND THE COMPANY "RECKITT-BENCKISER S.A." FOR ANOTHER THREE YEARS, PROVISIONAL COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN "ELGEKA FERFELIS BULGARIA LTD" AND "PODRAVKA Prehrambena Industrija d.d." AND AWARD OF "ELGEKA FERFELIS ROMANIA SRL".
ELGEKA S.A, would like to notify the investing public that its' subsidiary company (by 52,63%), ELGEKA FERFELIS ROMANIA SRL, signed a pre-agreement for the renewal of the standing distribution agreement (since November 2004) with the multinational company RECKITT-BENCKISER S.A., which is the Number 1 manufactures of household cleaning products, for an additional three year period.
We would like to remind you that some of the most famous brands owned by RECKITT-BENCKISER S.A. are: Calgon (water softener), Calognit (water softener for Dishwashers), Vanish (fabric care product), Cillit (power cleaner product), Harpic (lavatory cleaner), Air Wick (air-care product), Dettol (personal care product).
Moreover, our subsidiary company ELGEKA FERFELIS BULGARIA LTD reached a provisional agreement with PODRAVKA Prehrambena Industrija d.d. concerning the signing of a three year commercial agreement which will commence on the 1st of January 2008. PODRAVKA Prehrambena Industrija d.d. is a well-known company that produces spices and flavorings. The above company has a significant presence in the Romanian market through ELGEKA FERFELIS ROMANIA SRL.
Finally, our subsidiary ELGEKA FERFELIS ROMANIA SRL, awarded 3rd place - right after "SHELL GAS ROMANIA S.A." and "SIEMENS SRL", on Thursday, the 29th of November 2007 from the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the category of large-medium commercial companies. The evaluating standards were: a) Turnover, b) Profits after taxes, c) number of employees, d) non existent of short-term dues to the Public / governmental organizations, e) solid financial position, f) quality of the distribution standards.
