Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces in accordance to Law 3556/2007, decision 1/424/3.7.2007 and Circular No 33 of Hellenic Capital Market Commission that on 16 October 2007, Marfin Investment Group Holdings S.A., closely associated with the Managers of the Bank Messrs. Andreas Vgenopoulos, Group Chief Executive and Photios Karatzenis, Head of Legal Department, proceeded with the purchase of 174.000 shares of Marfin Popular Bank of total value euro 1.766.180,00.
