In compliance to the No. 2273/2003 Regulation of the E.C. Committee dated December 22nd, 2003 Proton announces purchases of own shares as listed below, which were accomplished in accordance to article 16 par. 5 of L.2170/1920, in implementation of Annual Shareholders' Meeting decision of November 24th, 2006 and the Board of Directors' decision of May 8th, 2007.
(1) On October 8th, 2007 a total of 3,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.426 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 31,278.76.
(2) On October 9th, 2007 a total of 1,174 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.440 per share.
Total value of the transaction was Euro 12,256.95. The abovementioned 4,174 own shares, of total value Euro 43,535.71 were purchased through Proton Bank S.A. at an average purchase price of Euro 10.430 per share.
