ALTEC financial results are largely improved on Company and Group level during the 9 month period of 2007 in relation to the respective period of 2006, as presented in the published financial statements.
GROUP
According to published financial statements, on Group level, net profit increased by 79.22% and amounts to euro 3.36 mln from euro 1.88 mln of the same period of 2006.
Operating profit (EBITDA) is improved by 28.47% and amounts to euro 20.75 mln in contrast to euro 16.15 mln.
Turnover for the same period is increased by 13.52% and amounts to euro150.41 mln from euro 132.49 mln of the same period of 2006.
Gross profit margin is improved by almost 7 percentage points to 36.34% from 29.46%. EBITDA and net profit margins are also improved to 13.79% and 2.24% respectively.
COMPANY
The financial results of the parrent company ALTEC are also improved. ALTEC turnover for the 9 month period of 2007 is increased by 11.72% to euro 84.16 mln from euro 75.33 mln.
Operating profit (EBITDA) is also increased by 31.26% and amount to euro 16.56 mln from euro 12.61 mln.
Net profit after tax, is increased by 54.82% to euro 5.92 mln from euro 3.82 mln.
The improving trend is also followed by profit margins. Gross profit margin increased to 36% from 32%, EBITDA margin to 19.67% and net profit margin to 7.03%.
An important factor for the above mentioned improvement was the successful launch of the iDO product family and the positive consumers' attitude towards them.
