PARAMOUNT FARMS is the largest global supplier of peanuts and almonds with more than 284 thousand square kilometres of privately owned land in California where these products are cultivated. It is also the largest company in production, processing, and packaging of pistachios and almonds in the world.
CARDICO SA was selected by PARAMOUNT FARMS to implement this special pilot initiative because it has the largest, state-of-the-art, certified facilities in the European Union.
It also maintains its traditional leadership position in the dried nuts sector; it is a listed company on the Athens Stock Exchange, and to this day, has met all expectations in its partnership with PARAMOUNT FARMS.
In order to implement this programme, CARDICO SA is cooperating with the most specialised scientists in the field (Nutritionists, Dieticians, etc.)
Implementation begins by focusing on the beneficial properties of pistachios, and in due course will expand to other products of the sector. Subsequently, the pistachios programme is scheduled to expand to other countries in the greater region.
