Announcement regarding Interim Dividend payment for the fiscal year 2007
According to article 279 of the Athens Exchange Regulation, OPAP S.A. announces to the shareholders that the company's Board of Directors during its session on 21/11/2007, resolved the distribution of interim dividend of ?0.60 per share against dividend payment for the fiscal year 2007.
Entitled to interim dividend are the Company's shareholders at the closing of the Athens Exchange session on Wednesday 12/12/2007, according to the settlement procedure of the Hellenic Exchanges S.A.. As of Thursday, 13/12/2007 (cut off day), the shares will be traded without the interim dividend right for the fiscal year 2007.
Payment of the interim dividend commences on Friday December 21, 2007 and will be processed through the NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE as follows:
1. Through their Account Operators (Banks, Securities Firms) at the Dematerialized Securities System, pursuant to article 329 of the ATHEX regulation.
2. Through the bank network of the NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE, for those shareholders that have requested exclusion by their Operator at the Dematerialized Securities System or keep their shares in a investor account.
3. Shareholders, who, for any reason, are unable to collect their dividend through their operator, will be able to collect it from 28/12/2007 through the bank network of the NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE. The collection of interim dividend in the second and third case will be feasible either in person or by proxy until 20/12/2008 upon notification of the Investors' Account Code Number and proof of Identity. Following the expiration of the abovementioned date (20/12/2008), dividend will be paid only at the company's offices (62 Kifissou Ave., 121 32 Peristeri-Athens, tel: 210-5798800, Investor Relations Department).
For any further information, shareholders may address the National Bank Depository Department at tel: +30 210 3340613. Dividend not collected within five (5) years is prescribed to the Hellenic Public Sector.
