Acquisition of a 5,02% stake on MARFIN POPULAR BANK
MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP ("MIG") wants to makes the following announcement:
1. Based on the relevant announcements having been submitted both to the Cyprus Stock Exchange and Athens Stock Exchange, MIG already owns a 5.02% stake on MARFIN POPULAR BANK ("MPB").
2. The acquisition of a 5.02% stake reflects MIG's management positive view about MPB's attractiveness as a growth play in Greece, Cyprus and SE Europe while it is in conformity with the group's investment criteria defined as a minimum IRR of 25%.
