Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces in accordance to Law 3556/2007, that today, 12 October, 2007, Marfin Investment Group Holdings S.A. gave it notice of the purchase of 534.432 shares of the Bank, at an average price of euro 9,967 each. According to the company's notification, following the purchase of the above shares the percentage of voting rights of Marfin Investment Group in Marfin Popular Bank, increased to 5,02%.
