Following a question from the Capital Markets Commission through its letter dated 30.11.2007 and in accordance with article 2 of decision 5/204/2000 of the Board of Directors of the Capital Markets Commission, in relation to publications in the press, the Company answers as follows:
According to the announcements of the Company dated 1.8.2007 and 24.10.2007, the contract value for the leasing of equipment, the transfer of know-how and the provision of support services for the betting game, during the three year duration of the agreement with OPAP S.A. is Euro 96.5 million. In addition, the contract includes the provision of maintenance services, technical support and operation for the entire IT infrastructure, the cost of which can be calculated only at completion, based on the kind, quantity and the time of availability of the above mentioned equipment, as the Company has already announced. These services will replace services already provided to OPAP SA by third party providers. Finally, as the Company has already notified through its announcements dated 1.8.2007 and 27.11.2007, the contract includes option rights for both parties for the acquisition of the infrastructure and the rights to the software of the games by OPAP S.A., through which a contractual obligation is created upon exercise of the rights. The value of the option right that the Company exercised on 27.11.2007 is Euro 58.5 million.
