S&B INDUSTRIAL MINERALS S.A. (S&B), based on Law 3556/2007 in combination with article 11 of the decision 1/434/3.7.2007 of the Hellenic Market Commission and following the letter of LANSDOWNE EUROPEAN EQUITY FUND LIMITED (LEEF Ltd), would like to clarify that:
On August 1st 2007, a transaction took place that reduced to 4,99% the participation of LEEF Ltd over the total voting rights of S&B. Unfortunately, due to a technical problem, LEEF Ltd did not inform S&B or the Hellenic Market Commission for this transaction.
LEEF Ltd with its letter on 24/08/2007, announced that on 22/08/2007 acquired 6.165 shares of S&B resulting in a total participation percentage over the total voting rights that increased to 5,01% from 4,99%. S&B announced this transaction on August 29, 2007.
The voting rights attached to the 1.539.740 shares (5,01%) in S&B have been registered in the name of and are held by MORGAN STANLEY & CO INTERNATIONAL plc in its capacity as custodian on behalf of LEEF Ltd.
