In its letter of 6.9.2007 addressed to the Capital Market Committee and the Issuer, "MARFIN POPULAR BANK PUBLIC CO LTD" advised the Capital Market Committee and the Issuer that, following the share capital increase of "MARFIN EGNATIA BANK S.A." due to merger through absorption with "MARFIN BANK S.A." and "POPULAR BANK (HELLAS) S.A." that took place on 5.9.2007 its participation on the total share capital and voting rights of the Issuer was increased from 86.21% to 95.037%.
