Following its announcements on 17/9/2007 and on 20/9/2007 NIREUS S.A. wishes to clarify that CAPITAL RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY due to its role as manager of the mutual fund G22-HG22 SMALLCAP WORLD FUND INC. which at 14/9/2007 informed NIREUS S.A. that its voting rights stake on NIREUS S.A. has changed from 5,069% to 0,00%, also zeroed its indirect (through the said mutual fund) voting rights stake on NIREUS S.A. from 5,069% to 0,00% respectfully.
