EUROMEDICA secures stake in FILOKTITIS S.A.
Euromedica S.Α. would like to inform its shareholders and the investment community that it has acquired a 5.13% stake in the company "FILOKTITIS - CENTRE FOR THE RECOVERY, REHABILITATION AND CARE OF THE ELDERLY, THE SICK AND THE DISABLED S.A.". The holding was acquired through participation in an increase in the share capital of FILOKTITIS company, with EUROMEDICA acquiring 382,615 shares for 3,060,920 Euro.
The Centre, which opened its doors to patients earlier this year, is located in the Karella district in Koropi. It has a surface area of 22,500 square metres, on a plot of land covering 75,690 square metres. It has 125 beds, while outpatient facilities are also available.
The FILOKTITIS company owns another plot of land in Koropi, in the Profitis Ilias neighbourhood, covering an area of 65,947 square metres. Euromedica's acquisition is part of its expansion strategy in the field of recovery and rehabilitation centres - a strategy initiated with its purchase of stakes in the companies AROGI S.A. and APOKATASTASI S.A. in the Larisa region.
