In response to a question from the Cyprus Stock Exchange, Marfin Popular Bank Group announces, with regard to articles in the Cypriot press, that it will make announcements concerning the merger of its subsidiary Laiki Investments (Financial Services) Public Company Limited with CLR Capital Public Ltd as soon as discussions between the management of the two organisations have been completed. Until then the Group does not intend to comment on the various information being given publicity.
