In compliance to the No. 2273/2003 Regulation of the E.C. Committee dated December 22nd, 2003 Proton announces the purchase of own shares as shown below, which was accomplished in accordance to article 16 par. 5 of L.2170/1920, in implementation of the Annual Shareholders' Meeting decision of November 24th, 2006 and the Board of Directors' decision of May 8th, 2007.
On August 31st, 2007 a total of 1,000 shares were purchased at the price of Euro 10.206 per share. Total value of the transaction was Euro 10,206.12.
The abovementioned 1,000 own shares were purchased through Proton Bank S.A..
