COSMOTE's Board of Directors elected today Mr I. Aivazis, OTE Chief Operating Officer, as new member in replacement of the resigned member Mr Y. Sarantitis. According to the Company's Articles of Association, Mr Aivazis's election will be submitted for approval to the next General Assembly of COSMOTE's shareholders.
After the aforementioned approval the new Board of Directors, whose term expires on June 30th, 2009, following its formation into a body, comprises of:

Mr I. Aivazis holds a degree in Economics from Athens University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Marketing and Finance from Lancaster University, UK, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Economics from the same University. He speaks English and French fluently in addition to his native Greek. From 1980 to 2001 he worked at the banking sector where he assumed a number of managerial positions. Since February 2001, he has been member of the Board of Directors and Executive Vice President of OTE International Investments. Since March 2003, Mr Aivazis was Chief Officer for OTE Group Financial Affairs and since April 2004 held the position of Chief Financial Officer of OTE. Since June 2007 he has been Chief Operating Officer of OTE S.A.
