In reply to the letter sent by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission dated October 17th 2007, the Management of Geniki denies the rumors regarding the Societe Generale sale of its participation on Geniki Bank, mentioned in the site of "capital". We would like also to note that the relevant rumor is not related in any way to the imminent share capital increase.
