EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. ("the Bank") announces, in accordance with Regulation of the Commission of the European Community no 2273/2003, article 4, par.4, that following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank dated April 3, 2007, and the resolution of its Board of Directors of that date, it purchased own shares through the Athens Exchange Member EFG Eurobank Securities, as follows: a) On 10 October 2007 the Bank purchased 600 shares, with average cost price 26.14 euro per share and total purchase price 15,685.06 euro. b) On 16 October 2007 the Bank purchased 49,000 shares, with average cost price euro 26,08 per share and total purchase price 1,278,162.77 euro.
