Proton Bank hereby confirms that it has been engaged in discussions and an exchange of information, in light of negotiations between shareholders of Proton Bank and Bank Hapoalim, for the potential acquisition by the latter of an equity participation in Proton and also regarding an overall strategic partnership between the two banks.
If an agreement is reached, the bank will proceed with the relevant announcements in order to inform its shareholders and the investor community.
