Altec has undertaken an IT project on behalf of Marfin Popular Bank.
The project involves software provision and relevant services in order to cover the IT needs of Laiki Insurance, affiliated company of Marfin Popular Bank.
The project refers to the insurance activities of Laiki Insurance both in Greece and Cyprus.
At the same time, Marfin has the option to utilize the provisions of the particular agreement in case she decides to extend her activities in other countries.
Altec undertook the above Project by competing with other international companies that specialize in computing systems for the insurance industry.
After a scrutinized analysis of the functional requirements set by Laiki Insurance, Altec's insurance software was selected as the most suitable insurance administration system, in terms of upgrading the existing IT system.
At the final phase of the project, Altec's insurance systems (UN.I.S & I.B.S) will cover the whole spectrum of Marfjn Popular Bank's activities for all Property & Casualty lines of business. Activities of both the Insurance Company and the Insurance Brokerage Company will be integrated in a single IT frame, with obvious advantages.
The new IT system will also have B2C and B2B capabilities, providing internet access to clients and collaborators. It will also provide real time access for all the Bank's establishments both in Greece and Cyprus, in order to promote Marfin's insurance products and customer's service.
It is appreciated that the installation and operation of the new insurance management's informative system, will contribute to the accomplishment of Marfin Popular Bank's objectives and to the improvement of services being offered to her customers.
