Pursuant to Article 9, paragraph 5 of Law 3556/2007 on the calculation of the thresholds for disclosure of changes in shareholders' voting rights, J&P-AVAX SA (the Company) announces that during October 2007 the Development Ministry announced with its Κ2-15019/18.10.2007 document the approval of the increase in the Company's share capital and voting rights, through the issue of 4,454,850 new common registered shares with a par value of euros 0.58 each. Following the afore-mentioned change, the Company's common registered shares and voting rights total 77,654,850 and the par value of its share capital amounts to euros 45,039,813.
