Following Proton Bank's S.A. previous announcement of 24/12/2007, the Bank announces that on 28/12/2007 a share transfer agreement was executed between the Bank and the insurance company Commercial Value S.A., regarding the transfer of the Bank's direct and indirect participation, i.e. percentage 91,29%, in its subsidiary Proton Insurance S.A. against the purchase price of 17,8 million Euro.
The transaction is subject to the financial and legal due diligence and the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities (Ministry of Development, Hellenic Competition Commission).
