Joint management of ERRIKOS DYNAN with the Athens Medical Centre
EUROMEDICA S.A. would like to inform its shareholders and the investing community that, in partnership with the company ATHENS MEDICAL CENTRE S.A., it has concluded an agreement with the ERRIKOS DYNAN WELFARE FOUNDATION with the object of undertaking the management of the Hospital "ERRIKOS DYNAN". "ERRIKOS DYNAN" shall be managed by EUROHOSPITAL, a company under establishment, in which EUROMEDICA S.A. and ATHENS MEDICAL CENTRE S.A. hold equal shares of 50%.
The agreement shall be valid for a year starting from 1st January 2008, with the possibility of concluding an additional three-year agreement as of 1st January 2009.
The management of "ERRIKOS DYNAN" has been assigned to EUROHOSPITAL by the Greek Red Cross and the ERRIKOS DYNAN Foundation with the aim of continuing the provision of high quality hospital services, fulfilling the Foundation's charitable work and decreasing the cost of hospital services in order to ensure the Hospital's further development.
The agreement provides, inter alia, for the supply of free hospitalisation to destitute and unfortunate persons, at the suggestion of the Greek Red Cross, and the fulfilment of the needs of the State, the National Health Service and the University Community, as these arise under the agreements in force.
