Answering the letter of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission No 4607/31-10-2007 in which it asks to either verify or contradict the content of the publication of the newspaper NAFTEMPORIKI of 31-10-2007 in relation to the participation of NIREUS S.A. in the Norwegian listed company MARINE FARMS A.S.A., NIREUS S.A. announces the following: Following the entry of NIREUS S.A. to the share capital of MARINE FARMS A.S.A. in April 2007, NIREUS S.A. examines under any case the expediency and the possible methodologies of increasing its participation to the above-mentioned company, depending on the conditions of the market and the general strategic planning of NIREUS Group. So far, there is no any development which constitutes privileged information. If any development occurs, then the NIREUS management will immediately proceed with a detailed announcement to the public and to the competent authorities according to the existing legislation.
