REMARKS WITH REGARD TO PUBLICATIONS With regard to articles that were published in the electronic press in relation to:
a) our Company's buyout of a Diagnostic Centre in Elefsina, the cost of which amounted to 3 million Euros, and
b) our Company's interest in the purchase of a real estate in the Municipality of Palaio Faliro of the Prefecture of Attiki,
EUROMEDICA S.A. would like to announce that:
On 12 October 2007, EUROMEDICA S.A. concluded a memorandum of understanding and memorandum of agreement with regard to the buyout of 49% of the shares of "IONIA PRIVATE MULTI-MEDICAL FACILITY IATRIKI S.A.", which operates a diagnostic laboratory in Elefsina (imaging, bio-pathology, etc.), and which, concurrently, holds the controlling interest in "IATRIKI MEGARON PRIVATE DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY S.A.", which operates a diagnostic laboratory in Megara (imaging, bio-pathology, etc.), the cost of which amounted to 4,295,000 Euros. EUROMEDICA S.A., concurrently, concluded a memorandum of agreement with regard to the buyout of 49% of the shares of "IONIA NEPHROLOGY S.A.", the cost of which amounted to 204,000 Euros, and agreed that it will proceed in the acquisition of a real estate of an area of 772 square metres in Magoula, Attiki, which will be used to serve the needs of this company, the cost of which will amount to 100,000 Euros.
Moreover, EUROMEDICA S.A. is currently scheduling the construction of a diagnostic centre in the Municipality of Palaio Faliro, either on a privately-owned real estate or a leased real estate.
EUROMEDICA S.A. will inform investors and the competent authorities whenever it reaches a final agreement with regard to the above.
