Proton Bank in response to website article reported, December 21st , 2007, in the electronic page Euro2Day, confirms that it is found in initial negotiations for the potential transfer in the insurance company Commercial Value of shares that it possesses in its subsidiary company Proton Insurance. At this early stage of the negotiations the price and more generally the terms of potential sale have not yet been determined. In case of a positive outcome and the terms of any potential agreement will have been determined, Proton Bank shall revert with a new announcement in order to inform its shareholders and the investor community, pursuant to the applicable regulatory framework.
