Award of permit and Appointment of member of the Athens Stock Exchange for the sale of shares (2nd period)
Piraeus Bank informs the investors that by Decision 2/447/2.10.2007 of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Committee, the following are decided :
1. The award of permit to the issuing company PIRAEUS BANK S.A. for the sale of 17.435 corporeal common registered shares which have not been deposited for dematerialization and shares deriving from corporate acts and have been issued in dematerialized form in favour of the beneficiaries of the corporeal.
2. The appointment of PIRAEUS SECURITIES S.A. as the competent member of the Athens Stock Exchange for the sale of the specific shares.
3. Monday, the 15th of October 2007 was set as the effective date for the sale of shares. The sale will be carried out according to the specifications of Decision 1/380/4.5.2006 of the BoD of the Capital Market Committee and article 99Α of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulation.
Piraeus Bank will announce the result of every selling period and after the completion of the relevant procedure, will inform in writing its beneficiary shareholders on the selling result, the sum deposited on their behalf in the Deposit and Loans Fund as well as on the procedure, including the documents required, in order to collect the said sum.
