Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, NYSE: OTE), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, announces that on Wednedsay, September 26 2007, at 16:00, the Board of Directors of Cosmote will convene in order to accept the resignation of Mr Evangelos Martigopoulos, the company's Managing Director. The reasons for the resignation are differences of opinion with Cosmote's majority shareholder, regarding OTE Group's strategy.
