IASO S.A. with reference to yesterday's article of Naftemporiki under the title: "IASO Thessalias expands by euro 35 mil.", informs investors as follows: As we have already announced with the press release of 12/02/2006 and the announcement of 13/03/2007, the subsidiary "IASO THESSALIAS S.A." proceeds to the completion of a General and Obstetrics Private Hospital situated to its own plot of 50.000 m2 at the region of Nikaia, Larissa.
We confirm that on 31/10/2007 the company "IASO THESSALIAS S.A." purchased an adjacent plot of 10.723,31 m2 at the price of euro 29.347,00 per 1.000 m2, for a totall price of euro 314.696,00. We clarify that the investment of euro 35.000.000,00 concerns only buildings, while the total investment will be supplemented by biomedical and hospital equipment as well as with expenses for landscape gardening.
We are pointing out that the purchase of the adjacent plot does not constitute an important change of "IASO THESSALIAS S.A." investment plan.
